It's been a while, I know.  But I have a facebook now and I really like it.  I was never much for writing a journal type entry and that seems to be what Xanga is all about.  

I got to spend some wonderful time with my grandkids recently when Courtney and Mike when to Italy.  That was fun.  This weekend our friends, Liz and David Reneau are getting married.  Courtney is the matron of honor, Blake is the ring bearer and Ella is the flower girl.  I can't wait to see them all dressed up.  Yesterday, Blake picked up his tux and said that he was "going to steal the show".  I have no doubt about that!!!!

We went to West Palm Beach over the 4th of July weekend with some friends and Levi did some scuba diving.  It was fun.  We are also going to the Keys with the same friends over Labor Day weekend to do some snorkeling.  Levi will probably try to get in some dive time there also.  Hope everyone is having a great summer.

Had a good Memorial Weekend.  Sat nite had Couples nite and that was fun.  Then we went over to Mike's grandma's house for a cookout on Monday.  It was really nice.  She just redid her pool and the kids had a great time.  I got in with them and it was probably funny to look at because first Ella would jump off the stairs to me on one side, then Blake needed me to watch him swim from one side of the stairs to the other and I was playing one handed volleyball with a beach ball with Spencer, all at the same time.  It was a lot of fun.  I love my grandkids.

Went out last nite to see the new Indiana Jones movie and then to Carraba's for dinner.  It was great.  Today we went to the flea market and I got some really nice produce.  My mom fries fresh corn from the cob so I am going to try that tonite.  She cuts the corn off the cob and fries it with butter and cubanello peppers.  Yum!!

Next weekend in Ella's birthday.  I can't believe she will be three years old.  Courtney is having a party for her on Saturday and I'm sure she'll have a great time.  Last week I went to Spencer's school concert and it was great.  They did all the songs from the parents era.  It was really cute.  Then Blake had pre-school graduation on Wed nite.  He was really cute dressed in his dress pants, coat and tie.  Then the cap and gown was really cute.

My parents are out of town for a month seeing relatives and going to my nephew's high school graduation, so I am getting their mail and checking on their condo.   We are going to West Palm, Juno Beach, to be exact over July 4th with some friends and meeting a group from the dive shop where Levi took scuba lessons.  Levi and our friend are going to get to dive 6 times in 3 days.  His wife and I are going to lay on the beach, lay by the pool, shop, and just have fun.  I am really looking forward to it.  We are also going to the Keys over Labor Day Weekend to do some snorkeling and Levi will hopefully get in some scuba dives then as well.  With the gas prices so high, it looks like a couple long weekends in the sunny State of Florida will be our vacation this year.   But that's OK both weekends will be fun and we get to be gone for 4 days since I don't work on Fridays.

Man, I didn't think I had anything to say, but  I guess I was wrong.  Hope everyone in Xanga land is doing well. 

Well, Levi finished his scuba lessons yesterday with an open water dive at Rainbow River.  He has really enjoyed and was sad that the classes were over.  He said that now he will have to make the effort to check with the dive shops to see when the trips are scheduled, etc.   Yesterday, his instructor said "well, this is your last "free" air", which means now they have to rent everything and pay for all the trips.  I hope he keeps up with it.  We are going to the Keys in Sept with some friends and he hopes to get to do an open water dive then.

Friday nite we went to Terry and Sharon Bell's for a connecting point dinner.  It was great.  Their home was beautiful and she had tons of food.   It was a great evening.  We had a lot of errands and chores to do on Sat and we took Levi's mom out to Cracker Barrel for dinner.   Sunday was church, a good service and then I cleaned house until Levi got home.

I had a jewelry party a few weeks ago and it is supposed to arrive today, so it will be fun going through all of that.

Courtney called and Michael is sick so I will probably go to her house after work to watch the little ones so she can take him to the Dr.  Tonite Levi has a piano tuners meeting so I am hoping to get my housework done.  It seems like I can't ever get the house cleaned all at one time, but that it my goal tonite.

We are trying to figure out where we can go on vacation this year.  Can't really decide, trying to determine where we can afford to go, but we really would like an entire week away somewhere.  Any suggestions????

Thought I would update, however, no one really reads my site anymore anyway.  

Had a jewelry party on March 25th.  It was fun to have some people over and I have some great jewelry pieces coming.

Was in Heather's musical over Easter weekend.  It was great!!!  Really enjoyed myself and was so proud of her.  Had my family over for Easter dinner and it was a beautiful day so we ate outside.

Last week on Thurs nite I picked up Spencer, Blake and Ella and took them home to watch them until Friday afternoon so Courtney and Mike could go to his uncle's funeral.  Then recovered on Saturday.  They are so much fun to be with, but I so admire Courtney for her energy in taking care of them.

Friday nite we went out with Chris and Heather, which is always a fun time.  Love you guys!!!   Thanks!!

Levi is taking Scuba lessons and had his first dive at Weeki Wachee yesterday.  After next week's classes, he dives at Rainbow River, then he will get his certification.  He said he could them mark that off his "bucket list". 

Work is still work, but I feel very fortunate to have my job as some of my friends have lost theirs in the last couple of weeks.

God is good to us and He is very faithful.

My daughter told me that I really needed to update my site.  So here goes.....Just got back from a surprise weekend that Levi planned to celebrate our 34th anniversary.  On Friday afternoon he told me to pack a bag for two nites away.  He had made reservations at a nice resort on South St. Pete Beach.  Our room opened right onto the beach.  It was really great!!!   We had a very relaxing weekend, just the two of us.  Even though it is just the two of us at home now, we are really busy and don't have that much one-on-one time with no interruptions.  Thanks babe for a great anniversary!!!

I am also practicing with Heather for her Easter drama.   I play her mother.  It is so good.  Heather you did such a great job, the drama, the music, the sets, etc!!!   It is really exciting.

Have been spending time with my grandkids, altho, not as much with my daughter.  I have been helping Courtney out since she has had a lot of appointments for the kids, doctors, dentists, etc.   I am so proud of the woman, wife and mother my daughter has become.   She is amazing!!!  Everytime I talk to her she makes me proud with the stuff she says and how she cares for her family.  You are wise beyond your years and I love you very much!!!
